Structural, Electrical and Magnetic Properties of Pt/As Temelli 122-RPt2-xTxAs2 Ve 211-Pt2-xTxRAs ( R= La, Ba ; T= Ni, Fe)

The recently discovered FeAs-based superconductors are a new, promising set of materials for technological and basic research. Very recently, oxygen free new materials were discovered. These compounds may yield a better understanding of the superconducting state, perhaps even shedding light on the still-perplexing CuO-based high-Tc materials.
We will prepare a serie of 122-RPt2-xTxAs2 and 211-Pt2-xTxRAs ( R= La, Ba; T= Ni, Fe) compounds. Using resistivity, magnetization measurements techniques, we will try to reveal the nature of the interaction between the structural, magnetic, and superconducting phase transitions (if any) in these compounds.
