ABOUT ITU NANO

Established in 1773, Istanbul Technical University (ITU) is the oldest technical university in Turkey, encompassing all engineering disciplines and basic sciences. ITU is a pioneering research-focused university with advanced research and technology goals. Due to the priority of research based on Nanotechnology and Nanoscience within over 30 engineering fields, many graduate programs position ITU as a leading institution in the fields of nanotechnology and nanoscience R&D. As the university with the highest number of graduate students in engineering and science fields nationwide, ITU, with all these characteristics, is ready to become a regional powerhouse in the field as ITU Nano. At the Istanbul Technical University Nanotechnology Application and Research Center (ITU Nano), we conduct studies in four main areas focused on "Functional Nano-Materials". We are open and eager to engage in both national and international collaborations of high quality and impact in this field.

As Istanbul Technical University Nanotechnology Application and Research Center (ITU Nano), we provide services within the framework of the mission and vision set forth by Istanbul Technical University. Our mission is to foster individuals equipped with contemporary technologies, capable of interdisciplinary work in the focus area of functional materials, applying and advancing cutting-edge technology in all fields, and addressing problems encountered in all areas with the support of advanced technologies. We aim to explore, develop, and apply solutions to problems encountered in all fields, supported by advanced technologies.

Collaborations

As the Istanbul Technical University Nanotechnology Application and Research Center (ITU Nano), our goal is to establish quality collaborations in various scientific and engineering fields, in line with the characteristics of nanotechnology research. Therefore, we actively collaborate with national and international Research and Development Centers with the aim of conducting innovative Research and Development Projects through teamwork with both academia and industry.
